Step 01

Find the program that fits your goal.

Choose Your Care Path

Start by selecting the care path that matches what you want to improve. WellPeps offers programs for weight loss, peptide & wellness therapy, hair restoration, and sexual wellness. Each path is supported by licensed providers who review your case individually. Not sure which path is right? Use the program finder to compare options and choose the best starting point. No commitment — you are only charged if treatment is prescribed.

Every program follows the same clinically sound process. The intake questions, provider review, and follow-up cadence are tailored to each care path.

Complete Your Online Intake

Once you have chosen your care path, answer a brief set of health questions through our secure online platform. The intake covers your medical history, current medications, goals, and lifestyle — tailored to the program you selected, whether that is weight loss, peptide & wellness therapy, hair restoration, or sexual wellness. It is a clinically designed form reviewed by an independent licensed medical provider, not a generic quiz or algorithm. Everything is encrypted and handled in accordance with HIPAA privacy standards.

Available 24/7 from any device. Some states require a synchronous (live video) initial visit with your licensed medical provider before a prescription can be issued.

Step 03

Real clinical judgment. Every time.

A Licensed Provider Reviews Your Health History

An independent licensed medical provider reviews your evaluation and assesses your eligibility based on your individual health profile. If they have questions, they may reach out through secure messaging. You will receive a clear, personalized response. All prescribing decisions are made solely by your licensed medical provider. WellPeps does not direct or influence those decisions.

All licensed medical providers are credentialed in the states they serve and operate through accredited telehealth infrastructure. Provider credentials and scope of practice vary by program.

Step 04

Personalized. Clinically sound.

Receive a Treatment Plan If Appropriate

If treatment is clinically appropriate for you, your independent licensed medical provider issues a personalized prescription or care plan through a licensed, FDA-registered pharmacy partner. Your dosage, medication or treatment type, and recommended therapy are selected based on your specific health profile — no one-size-fits-all approach. You will receive a full explanation of your care plan, including instructions and what to expect.

Medications are dispensed by independent, licensed, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies operating under federal and state regulations. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products. Some programs may utilize FDA-approved medications where clinically appropriate.

Step 06

Your care does not stop at the prescription.

Continue With Follow-up and Support

After your initial prescription, your independent licensed medical provider conducts a 30-day async review and refill eligibility check. Monthly async follow-up continues until steady-state dosing is reached, then transitions to quarterly async follow-up. Synchronous video consults may be available when clinically appropriate or required by your state. Secure provider messaging is available throughout.

Follow-up cadence and availability depend on program structure, state requirements, and clinical appropriateness.

The Clinical Review Process

What Happens During Your Provider Review?

After you complete your online health evaluation, your case enters a structured clinical review workflow designed to ensure thorough, individualized assessment. This is not an automated approval process. An independent licensed medical provider — a physician or nurse practitioner credentialed in your state — personally reviews your complete health profile before making any clinical determination.

The review process typically takes between 24 and 72 hours, though complex cases or cases requiring additional documentation may take longer. During this time, your provider evaluates your medical history, current medications, documented health history, prior treatment attempts if any, contraindicated conditions, and individual health goals. They may reach out through secure messaging if they have clarifying questions. In states requiring a synchronous initial visit, you will be prompted to schedule a brief video consultation with your provider.

If treatment is determined to be clinically appropriate, your provider issues a personalized treatment plan — which may include a prescription with specific dosing, titration schedule, and monitoring plan, or a non-prescription care recommendation depending on your program. If treatment is not appropriate, you receive a clear explanation and recommendation for next steps, which may include consulting your primary care physician or exploring alternative approaches. Either way, you are never charged for treatment that is not prescribed. The monthly plan price covers this entire review process, the treatment plan or prescription if issued, shipping if prescribed, and all ongoing follow-up care. Pricing is shown before checkout.

24–72 hours

Initial Provider Review

Your licensed medical provider reviews your complete health evaluation, medical history, medications, and program-specific goals. Complex cases may require additional time or documentation.

Day 30

First Follow-up Review

Your provider conducts an async review of your initial response, side effects, and tolerance. Dosing adjustments may be made based on your individual progress and clinical indicators.

Monthly → Quarterly

Ongoing Async Care

Monthly async follow-up continues until steady-state dosing is reached, then transitions to quarterly reviews. Secure provider messaging is available throughout your entire program.

What Makes Us Different

Real Providers. Real Pharmacies. Real Care.

Licensed medical providers, not algorithms

Every patient evaluation is reviewed by a licensed medical provider. A real provider reads your full health profile and makes an independent clinical decision. This is a legal and ethical requirement, not a marketing claim.

FDA-registered compounding pharmacies

Medications are compounded and dispensed by licensed, FDA-registered pharmacies operating under Section 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. These are regulated pharmaceutical compounders subject to federal and state oversight.

Privacy-first and encrypted

Your health data is encrypted end-to-end and handled in accordance with HIPAA privacy standards. We never sell your data, never share it without your consent, and never use it for advertising.

Ongoing care, not a one-time transaction

Your care does not end at the prescription. A 30-day async review follows your initial prescription, then monthly async follow-up until steady-state dosing is reached, then quarterly. Synchronous visits may be available when clinically appropriate or required. Secure provider messaging is available throughout.

Provider support throughout your program

Questions between refills? Secure provider messaging is available throughout your program. Your licensed medical provider can address dosing questions, side effect concerns, and clinical guidance without requiring a separate appointment or additional charge.

Lab-guided care when clinically appropriate

For patients where lab work is clinically indicated, your licensed medical provider may recommend baseline or follow-up labs as part of your care plan. Lab-guided adjustments help ensure your dosing and treatment remain appropriate for your individual health profile over time.

Safety & Compliance

Is Compounded Prescription Therapy Safe and Legal?

Compounded medications (including semaglutide and tirzepatide) are legally prescribed when an independent, licensed medical provider determines they are clinically appropriate for an individual patient. Compounding is regulated under Section 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and must be performed by FDA-registered compounding pharmacies.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products and are prescribed only when an independent licensed medical provider determines there is a valid individual clinical reason. Some programs may also utilize FDA-approved medications. WellPeps does not manufacture, compound, or dispense medications.

FAQ

Common Questions About the Process

Everything most patients want to know before starting their evaluation.

WellPeps works in 6 steps: (1) Choose your care path. (2) Complete a 5-minute online health evaluation. (3) A licensed medical provider reviews your case. (4) If treatment is clinically appropriate, a personalized treatment plan or prescription is issued. (5) Medication or treatment ships to your door if prescribed — shipping is included in your plan price. (6) Ongoing async follow-up is included. Pricing is shown before checkout — semaglutide programs are $159/mo with code SEMASUMMER (reg. $249), tirzepatide programs are $219/mo with code SUMMER2026 (reg. $339), and other wellness programs may start lower depending on treatment type. No insurance required. Availability varies by state.

In most cases, no. WellPeps is fully telehealth for all programs. In most states, the clinician review is fully asynchronous — no webcam or live call required. A small number of states require a brief phone or video call before a prescription can be issued. If that applies to you, we will let you know after your intake.

The health evaluation takes about 5 minutes. Licensed medical provider review timelines vary. Once a prescription is issued, shipping timelines depend on the program, pharmacy, and your location. Some states require a synchronous initial visit which may add time.

If a licensed medical provider determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, you will receive a clear explanation. We encourage you to speak with your primary care provider about your options.

A licensed medical provider, not an algorithm, reviews your full health evaluation. All prescribing decisions are made solely by your licensed medical provider based on your individual health profile. WellPeps does not direct or influence those decisions.

WellPeps offers clinician-guided programs across four core categories: Weight Loss (including semaglutide and tirzepatide GLP-1 programs), Peptide & Wellness Therapy (such as Sermorelin, NAD+, Glutathione, MIC/B12, Lipo-C, and methylene blue), Hair Restoration (oral and topical regimens), and Sexual Wellness (ED and intimacy support). Each program is reviewed by an independent licensed medical provider who determines clinical appropriateness on an individual basis. Not all programs are available in every state.

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist (single pathway). Clinical trials with FDA-approved formulations demonstrated significant weight loss. Tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist (two pathways). Clinical trials with FDA-approved formulations also demonstrated significant weight loss. Your licensed medical provider will recommend the best fit based on your health profile. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products. They are prepared by independent, licensed, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies and are prescribed only when a licensed medical provider determines there is an individual clinical need. Some programs may utilize FDA-approved medications where clinically appropriate.

Yes. There are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees. Cancel by emailing members@openwaterrx.com, calling (941) 315-5217 Mon–Fri 9 AM–5 PM ET, or through your patient portal. Once medication for that month has been ordered, that month's charge is not refundable.

Yes. Every WellPeps program follows the same six-step telehealth process: choose your care path, complete an online health evaluation, licensed provider review, personalized care plan, discreet delivery, and ongoing follow-up. The intake questions, treatment options, and follow-up cadence are tailored to each program, but the overall experience is consistent across weight loss, energy & longevity, men's health, and wellness optimization.

If you are already enrolled in one program and would like to explore another, contact your provider through secure messaging or email members@openwaterrx.com. Your provider will review whether a different program is clinically appropriate for you and guide you through the next steps.

Pricing is shown before checkout. Semaglutide programs are $159/mo with code SEMASUMMER (reg. $249) and tirzepatide programs are $219/mo with code SUMMER2026 (reg. $339). Personalized dosing programs are $179/mo. NAD+ and peptide longevity programs are $149/mo. Men's health programs are $99. Wellness optimization programs may start lower depending on treatment type. Your actual cost depends on the specific program, formulation, and provider recommendation. All pricing is disclosed upfront before you pay.

WellPeps serves patients across the United States. Availability varies by state, treatment pathway, provider availability, and state-specific requirements. Some states impose additional restrictions or disclosure requirements. Some states require a synchronous (live video) initial visit with your licensed medical provider before a prescription can be issued. Your provider will inform you of any state-specific requirements during the intake process. Shipping is available where permitted by law.

Yes. In most cases, WellPeps services and medications qualify for Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) reimbursement because they are prescribed by a licensed medical provider for a diagnosed medical condition. We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA administrator for specific coverage details. We can provide itemized receipts and superbills for reimbursement upon request.
